Set out from your hotels in North London and go east to Islington Green for the Islington Christmas Market. From December 4th to 19th, there will be dozens of stalls selling everything from foods to crafts and other giftware. There is also a Santa’s Grotto for the kids to enjoy.
Another fair close to hotels near Wembley Stadium is the Hampstead Christmas Festival. Held on November 29th, 2015, this fair is a fun celebration on Hampstead’s charming high street, with live music, a funfair, almost one hundred stalls, street food, and even live reindeer. Bjorn Again will perform and the village’s Christmas Lights will be turned on.
November 28th and 29th is also the Notting Hill Christmas Bazaar. Located in the 20th Century Theatre, this will be the home of all things Christmassy with edible treats, a play area, and even a crèche. Kids can also visit Santa Claus in his grotto and take home a gift (fee applies).
The BBC Good Food Festive Fayre incorporates more than fifty stalls in Hampton Court Palace’s courtyard from Dec 4-6. Sample and select scrumptious edible treats including fine meats, handmade sweets and preserves, and festive liquor. Carollers will keep you entertained after celebrity chefs give live demonstrations.
