The Viaduct Tavern, Newgate
Enjoy your gin, and think about those who have passed through these doors over the past hundred years or so. Not all have left it voluntarily for this building used to be part of a jail! It was also a real Victorian gin palace and if you look on the walls, you can see the grand frescoes. There is even an original gin booth. It’s cozy, casual and fun and the range of gins impressive.

Décor is American Speakeasy style, and you can enjoy watching gin bubble and brew in front of you because this pub actually distills its own specialities.
